Updates:

This is definitely not one of the premium timeshare exchanges

Dec 29, 2011:

In the summer of 2010 we came to an agreement with Travel to Go by which they would give us a 5 year membership and $800 credit in return for our ending our scam complaints to various States Attorneys General offices and the Better Business Bureau.  We did so, and also inactivated this web site.

Continued attempts to use Travel to Go's services have failed.  They were unable to fulfill any of our requests, including various hotels, cruises, airline fares, etc and then actually cancelled our membership and access to their website in the fall of 2010, claiming we had not made such an agreement.  We have tried several times to get them to adhere to their promises, with zero results.  All complaints have been re-opened and we are examining other options.

Jul 27, 2010:

This update reports the latest failure of ‘Travel to Go’ to fulfill their contract with us. We are STILL not receiving weekly emails from the company, and they have yet to present us with an Aspen condo reservation that CJ Depallo said would likely open in July. In the meantime, RCI has provided us with an Aspen condo for week of Jan 8, 2011. Travel to Go represented that they had access to such condos BEFORE RCI did, so why did they not have this (or another) available for us? We reiterate that we have not resolved our complaints with the BBB, despite Travel to Go’s letter – they made an offer which just multiplied the injury done to us.

Jul 18, 2010:

In the latest episode of futility, we tried to use Travel to Go’s alleged services to find a hotel in Anacortes WA for Jul 10, 2010.  T2G offered only high priced hotels [over $100] – , none in Anacortes, one 14 miles out of town, the others  40 miles away.

Hotelguides.com, expedia.com, orbitz.com all had several  hotels in Anacortes or nearby for $60-100 range

So once again, Travel to go failed to make good even the simplest of its promises of travel savings.

Jun 29, 2010:

Here’s the latest insult from these scam artists – I sent a letter requesting a refund for the deposit we had made to their so-called 2 for 1 airfare deal. After more than a MONTH, I get a letter from

VIP Travel Reservations

4006 S Clyde Morris Blvd #1P

Port Orange FL 32129

Rather than sending the requested refund, they tried to get me to sign up for yet another deal AND I HAVE TO SEND AN ADDITIONAL REQUEST FOR REFUND SAYING I’M REALLY, REALLY, REALLY SURE I WANT THAT REFUND.
