FAQ: Add Treasures
Some guidelines for submitting treasures:
  • should be unique, yet not too obscure - someone must be able to find the item without knowing the city, state or country.

  • if an animal is unique to a country [eg, panda, lemurs], no further information is needed
  • if an animal is more common, include a unique identifier [eg Lilac breasted roller, Etosha]
  • do not include US state names in the item title 

    To add first zoom in to identify your item, then fill in the popup information.

    Why can't I include the state name? This would make it too easy, since the person would immediately jump to the United States. [Some items will still be very easy, but the game will adjust for this]
    Why 'unique' ? We can't use generic images of a person, activity, animal, etc because there would be no way for a player to guess where they might be - eg "boy in pool" could be anywhere, but "boy swimming in Great Salt Lake" would be fine
